No .WAV files on hard drive...due to typical or custom Windows 95 installation.
Cause:
.WAV schemes were not installed when Windows 95 was installed. This may occur if a 'Typical' or custom installation was performed.
Solution:
In the 'Control Panel' window, double-click the 'Add/Remove Programs' icon and select 'Multimedia'. Click 'Details...' and select the desired schemes to be installed. Click 'OK' twice to install the .wav driver.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Add/Remove Programs' icon. (The 'Add/Remove Programs Properties' dialog box appears.)

4) Click the 'Windows Setup' tab. (The 'Windows Setup' tabbed page appears.)
5) Select the 'Multimedia' check box and click 'Details...'. (A list of schemes which are included with Windows 95 appears.)

NOTE: Schemes are files with a .wav extension. A check mark will appear next to an audio scheme if it is already installed.
6) Select the desired schemes and click 'OK'.
7) If prompted, insert the Windows 95 installation CD-ROM or diskette and click 'OK'.
8) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to close the 'Control Panel' window.
